How the numbers work
How is newspaper insertion cost calculated?
Cost = copies × per-copy rate, plus 18% GST. The per-copy rate (₹1.20–₹2.00 as of June 2026) already bundles printing, the newspaper's insertion charge and transport to distribution hubs. The minimum billable quantity is 50,000 copies.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. Design is typically included with booking; the only addition to the per-copy rate is GST at 18%. Premium paper (above 90 GSM), lamination or odd sizes are quoted separately before you commit.
Does the estimate change by city?
No — the per-copy rate is the same in all 30 covered cities. What changes by city is which newspapers you can use and how many copies you need for the localities you want. See the city rate pages for that data.
